The most prolific cricketer of Bangladesh cricket history, Shakib Al Hasan has become the highest wicket taker of Bangladesh in all three formats of the game. And he is the only player in the cricket history to own that record.
Before starting of three-match bilateral One-day series against Afghanistan, Shakib was the highest wicket taker of Bangladesh in the Test and T-20 format of the game while he was the only one wicket behind from that milestone in the One-day format of the game.
And today in the first match of the series against Afghanistan he has managed to capture the wicket of Shabir Noori in his very first over and touched the milestone. The man with golden arm, Shakib Al Hasan is now the highest wicket taker of Bangladesh jointly with Abdur Razzak in that format of the game with 207 wickets.
Shakib has now captured these wickets from 157 ODIs. Shakib Al Hasan has also played 42 Test matches and 54 T-20 matches for Bangladesh where he picked up 147 and 65 wickets respectively.
